I am currently working on a series of short fiction films and a long term documentary film project. I have a background in film but went on to retrain and specialise in addressing violence against women and girls, which saw me spend the last 13 years working in various humanitarian emergencies around the world with women and girls, and in the UK too. My passion is using film to tell women’s stories with women at the front and centre, and to do so with women themselves through a collaborative, participatory process from story development through to the final film.
